Strong Vincent Wounded. Marker on the south slope of Little Round Top. (5/97) Original dedicated Aug. 1, 1878; this replacement marker dedicated July 1978.  The original maker, broken in two pieces, is now in Erie, PA, Vincent's hometown.  Inscription in boulder on Little Round Top, (?)  north of the 44th NY Monument.  Date unknown.  The inscription is well worn with age and difficult to read.
